The Society for the Development of Creativity was founded in Aleksinac with the aim of improving the local community and developing civic values. Over 4,000 young people and adults of various cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds have gone through the Society’s programs and projects. The association works on the development of the local community as well as the development of civil society in Southeast Serbia. The society implements projects and programs intended for young people, the elderly and all other categories of marginalized groups, not only in the local community but also beyond.
The GRAL project – Civil Auditors of Aleksinac is implemented by the Society for the Development of Creativity and the Municipality of Aleksinac. The goal of the project is to improve the provision of public services in the municipality of Aleksinac through innovative mechanisms of citizen monitoring. The total value of the project is 1,570,000.00 RSD. The local self-government participates with its own funds with 11% of the total project budget.
